Beach Bums
Ryan, the kids, and I headed down to the beach a few days ago for lunch. The kids always have a blast - Nathan, running in and out of the water and chasing seagulls, and Keaton, eating sand. :) I think they could stay there for hours. The only drawback is that when we get home, we have two tired, sandy kids. So they always have a quick shower, and then a looong nap.

Nathan noticed his little brother was having trouble with his cup, so he helped him out.

Nathan's intense, GQ look.
Keaton having fun... sandy mouth and all.
I asked Nathan to smile, and he gave me his normal cheesy grin.
So I asked him to open his eyes more , and he does this!

Beautiful!! Seems like your husband is quite good with the camera too! That first shot is fantastic. Looks like you all had a ton of fun and the beach is gorgeous. Whenever we go to the beach I swear Justin consumes half of the sand available too. Now I am wondering what editing program are you using Sheila? Awesome photos and of course gorgeous boys!
Thanks, Jess! Hubby is not to bad with the camera - as long as he leaves my settings alone! Hehe. He read my a photography book, and now is back-seat photographer. ;) (J/K, Ryan. Love ya.) I just use an old, old version of Photo Shop. I am trying to shoot in all manual, and my exposure still stinks, so PS helps me a bit.
Are you still loving your camera? I would love to see pictures!
Great pictures! I miss the beach so much.
Yeah I am still using my camera a ton. I have the new version of PS and to be honest it is such a complex program that I haven't had the time to sit and figure it all out. It is a bit confusing when you get into all of the technical stuff.
As for pictures I don't know where to post them. I need to start a blog I think! I don't really do it on BW b/c I have so many and I don't want to get annoying with it.
Your site is so inspiring and has actually made me want to journal more!
Ooo, let me know if you start a blog! Oh, and I hear you about PS - most of the time, it is like a foreign language to me. Sooo confusing. I got the Scott Kelby book, but just haven't had time to go through it yet.
